Update: Nearly 500,000 Dogs Fed With Our Miracle Of Love Campaign

Shelter dogs got to experience love like no other this Valentine’s Day. The iHeartDogs Miracle of Love campaign was a huge success thanks to you! Purchases made from the Miracle of Love Valentine’s Day campaign gave 30 shelter dogs an unforgettable Valentine’s Day filled with delicious steak, vegetables, and belly rubs galore!

Deserving Doggos Dined On Delicious Steaks!

The iHeartDogs crew headed out to the German Shepherd Rescue of Orange County for the Valentine’s Day of a lifetime. Dressed in their Sunday best, Marshall and Justine humbly served juicy steaks to deserving dogs (Salt Bae moves included)! All of the lovable furbabies that dined on their special Valentine’s meal are waiting for a family of their own.

The table was set for the finest of meals. A crisp, white tablecloth was topped with a gorgeous bouquet of flowers. No chocolates of course! But who needs chocolate when there’s steak?

First, there was Annalee. This beautiful 5-year-old had been bred repeatedly before being dumped at a high-skill shelter. You might not know it from looking into her loving eyes, but Annalee has never truly known what love feels like. Sweet Annalee devoured her steak and looked around for her post-steak snuggles!

Next came 1-year-old Milo. Visibly ill and timid, Milo was found on the streets of Mexico as a stray. He was suffering from starvation and mange, both of which he is still working hard to recover from.

Milo’s eyes are filled with sorrow but there was a glimmer of hope after he filled his belly with steak! He was so thankful for his meaty delicacy that he didn’t leave a single pea. This sweet boy is continuing to receive antibiotics, I.V. fluids, and medicated baths while he dreams of the love of his very own family.

Then there was Jessie. This lovable 8-year-old once knew what love was but she was ultimately left on the streets to fend for herself. Jessie is patiently waiting for a family to love her again the way she was once loved before.

It Was Only Possible Because Of You!

The goal was to serve Valentine’s Day meals to 150,000 shelter dogs. Yet again, the iHeartDogs family proved how amazing they are! You all knocked it out of the park! Because of your purchases, a grand total of 463,178 meals were served to dogs in need. That’s nearly a half-million meals! What greater love is there?!

We hope your Valentine’s Day was as special as it was for the pups in need – belly rubs and all!
